Evolve: Revolutionary Game Or Unacceptable For A Next Gen Game?

Evolve brings a whole new concept to gaming with a very visionary multi-player set up which has one player (The monster) vs 4 other players (The hunters) who have to work together in an attempt to stop this beast form becoming too powerful to comprehend. There are 2 monsters so far that have been announced to appear in the game to quench their thirst for blood and destruction, now lets introduce them to you.

Goliath woke up on the wrong side of angry this morning. Little is known about this Monster because scientists studying the beast wind up getting torn in half. Proving just how unfair natural selection can be, Goliath can not only punch through the hull of a starship, it can also breathe fire.

The immense creature known as Goliath has only one job which to to eradicate the hunters that are trying to execute him. This monster will eat wildlife animals around it to become stronger and stronger until it reaches level 3 (The highest possible level) when the monster is almost impossible to execute. At level 3 It's like the roles of the hunters and monsters reverse.

If the dictionary ever decided it needed a new word to describe the mix between waking nightmare and ungodly horror, it would undoubtedly include an image of Kraken. This tentacled monstrosity unleashes electric death on Hunters who get too close and even those who think they are safely out of range.

The Kraken's primary attacks all involve lightning to deal direct damage to the hunters when they come into close contact with each other. The first attack is lightning strike which is a devastating ranged blast that never needs to strike twice. The second attack is banshee mines which are charged orbs that attach to nearby foes and deal explosive damage. The third attack is aftershock which is when the Kraken emits an energetic burst that chains electricity to nearby foes. The final attack is the ranged attack called vortex when a moving wall of elemental energy knocks back enemies from afar.

However I hope that this new online multiplayer concept isn't as devastating as Titanfall's attempt to add AI players instead of real-life players from around the world.
